Hi everyone,

For work reasons, I will be away for six months and I’m sub-renting my room from August 2026 to January 2027 in a beautiful apartment located in Viganello, just a 3-minute walk from the Università della Svizzera italiana.

The room is fully furnished and its window faces directly onto a private garden, giving you a quiet and relaxing view. The garden can be accessed directly from the room or through the living room, making it very easy to step outside and get some fresh air.

The apartment also includes two bathrooms, which makes sharing the space very comfortable.

The washing machine and dryer are located in the building’s shared laundry room. They are usually available and easy to access.

You will share the apartment with Filipe, a Portuguese PhD student. I’ve lived with him for three years and he is friendly, respectful, and often busy with his research. The apartment is spacious enough for everyone to have their own comfort and privacy.

The location is ideal: a quiet neighborhood, very close to the university, supermarkets, public transport, and only a short distance from the center of Lugano.

The kitchen is fully equipped with:

and all the basic equipment you may need.
